We survived the 25 degree freezes with ice in the horse feeding buckets and lots of frost on the ground. In a month or two we'll see how the plants survived.
Since it was too cold to be doing building projects for us Floridians, we did lots of activities with grandkids and helping boys in the ward develop their Eagle Scout proposals. I did get a picture of David at his district wrestling meet where it won 3rd place in his weight division. He might have done better but grandma has been feeding him such great food on Sunday dinners that he was one pound overweight for his usual division so was the lightest wrestler in a far heavier class.
With all this cold weather, we ended the month hunting manatees with the visiting Kannas's. We found hundreds of them at Blue Springs south of town.
