Here are grandma and grandpa all set to go trick or treating. The grandkids said, "You're supposed to wear a costume, not look like your usual selves!" We explained that grandpa is supposed to be homeless (the sign says "need job") and grandma is showing the proper way to be ready for bed (at least in your nightmares!)
We'll let you guess who Deb, Eric, and Oliver are supposed to be.
Here are the rest of the grandkids dressed as a ghost, a death eater, a gypsy , Cleopatra, a prom queen, a nerd, and a cutie pie.
Trick or treating is a big event in Deb and Eric's neighborhood. (The city advertised it in the water bill and the police blocked off the neighborhood for two hours starting at 6.) The picture is a bit blurry, but you can see the masses of kids lined up for candy at Deb and Eric's home--about ONE THOUSAND came by in an hour and a half!! Deb and Eric were warned by the neighbors when they moved in last September and we've spent the month helping them to stock up on candy bars and other goodies to give out.
Yikes. One thousand!!!! Good thing they had you around to help out. I've never seen anything like that, other then in Oakleaf, and in movies. You all looked great!!!! Sounds like you all had lots of fun. :)
