Day 20

Today they put up the main beam of the house. Of course, you know what that means. It is time to top off the house with a Christmas tree!! Notice the catwalk they made for hoisting the beam.
Caroly kept herself busy planting her vertical garden with the gardening tools that Kim gave her for Christmas a year ago when we still lived in Gainesville.

    And today we completed the traditional topping off by taking the workers (all two of them) out for lunch at their favorite restaurant for good old southern style chicken fried steak with brown gravy, black eyed peas, collard greens and cheese grits. Delicious!!
