Today we met Kim at the Schiphol airport to start her European adventure. We did windmills and wooden shoes (click on the pictures so you can see the details, especially the wooden shoes on the windmill keeper) ...
lots of flowers at Keukenhof, the famous tulip garden that is only open during tulip season...
visited the ruins of the French Walloons church where our pilgrim ancestors Frances and Hester Cooke were married in Leiden...
and topped it all off with a great meal of Dutch pannenkoeken.
The adventure is off to a great start!
