Here's a look at me teaching my last class in underwater basket weaving at the University of Florida. It was hard work, but someone had to do it. Hungary, here we come!

Grandson 9 Grandchild 20
Here's the proud family, Jen, Robert, Branden and Ella, with new brother Bryce Alexander. Grandpa suggested that his name should be Parmesan (or Parm or Parmi) since they used the Eggplant Parmesan system to start labor. A local restaurant said that eating their Eggplant Parmesan would start labor within 24 hours if the baby was due. Since the baby was a day late, they decided to try the Parmesan Procedure. After loading up on Eggplant Parmesan for two meals, the baby came just 35 minutes before the time limit expired--thus the suggested name. Grandpa's suggestion was overruled. You'll have to agree that Parmesan is a better boy's name than Eggplant.
They thought that since names set your course for life, Bryce, as in Bryce Canyon, would set him on a life of outdoor adventure rather than a life with an exotic eating disorder as suggested by Eggplant Parmesan.
Of course, as soon as grandma got back to Gainesville, she had to head off to Sage and Troy's so she could tell grandson 8, Stephen, about his new boy cousin. Can you tell he's happy to hear the news?
