Hunting for Hungarian Horsemen

In Hungary, you have to search for famous Hungarian horsemen. What better place to start than high above the city on the Buda side of Budapest.


When you look out over the Danube you can see the Hungarian Parliament, but no horses.


Turn around and you can see beautiful tiled roofs.


Maybe even a banner or two down the picturesque streets.


But it doesn't take long until you find a king on a horse (maybe one of our Hungarian ancestors!)


This horseman was in such a hurry he forgot to put on his clothes!


You can see that Mom is overwhelmed by all these horses. Can you see the great Hungarian moustache on this Hungarian cowboy?


With all this horse excitement you have to look at a statue or two without horses to calm down.


Of course, the best thing to do is to stop at a funky cafe for a bite to eat.
